Every Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is created and managed by an investment firm known as an ETF issuer or provider. These companies are responsible for the fund’s strategy, regulatory compliance, and daily management. While some issuers focus on low-cost "passive" index tracking, others specialize in "active" management, where portfolio managers hand-pick stocks to outperform the market.
